hey Zab, congrats on 100+ days!
Don't forget Canada when you go global!
Regarding restless leg syndrome, I read that drinking tonic water before bed helps over time, not sure if this is true, but I thought of you when I read it.
Bed time for me, but you have a great Monday!

Ta Cauliflower. I will give the tonic water a try. Canada is definitely on my map. See you on the other side.

Good morning all,

It is Monday morning, the start of a new week and day one hundred and twelve for me. It is cold out and the weatherman reckons that we are going to have this for the next week at least. Business first.

Physically I am good. I have had no problems falling asleep and I sleep deep and well. I don't have any dreams that I can recall and I am eating reasonably well. I do need to work on getting my diet a little more balanced.

Mentally I am great. I didn't do much this weekend. I did attend a few networking type affairs. Basically a "get to know the brewer". Was great catching up with guys that I haven't seen in a while. It was also good to see how they are doing in this business and to chat about my ideas. They seemed to be very interested in the NA aspect, not to brew it themselves, but rather to carry it as a line in their own pubs.

Emotionally I am fair. The weekend has had its ups and downs. This is to be expected when one does not go out much. The events that I attended did help with that though.

All in all, it was not a bad weekend. I brewed in a "battle of the brewers" yesterday. It was basically a competition between the various clubs. It was nice to brew on a professional system. What was really great is that the guys were all looking at me for the recipe and method. The research I have been doing really helps - they think I am some sort of pro now. The proceeds of the beer that was brewed go to charity, so that is a nice touch.

Well, Monday morning. Time for a cup of tar and a cigarette to get this day on the go.

Be safe and be strong.

Cheers,

ZAB

Good morning all,

It is the start of day one hundred and thirteen for me. It is getting light already. It seems that we are over the camels back with regards to winter. Although it is still very cold, at least there is something visible. Business first.

Physically I am good. Sleep does not seem to be a problem anymore. I do still wake up in the middle of the night from time to time. I am still taking my vitamins, although not at the dosages I was taking them. I do however now need to break the smoking addiction. It seems so much harder to do though.

Mentally I am great. I listened to some interesting stuff last night. I also got to read a great magazine about the Australian craft beer scene. I have got to say that some of those brew-pubs are really stunning. And the cuisine looks great too. Another interesting fact is that they also seem to be leaning towards lower alcohol beers. This is really good news for me and it confirms what I have been thinking.

Emotionally I am doing alright. The evenings are a bit of a dog, but they pass quickly. I have work during the day and that helps. Luckily I have my project and that takes up most of the time I am not spending on work.

Well, time for a cup of tar and a cigarette.

Be safe and be strong.

Cheers,

ZAB

Good morning all,

Day one hundred and fourteen for me. Business first.

Physically I am broken. I started feeling very nauseous and started vomiting last night. This is followed by cold sweats. I could not keep dinner down. I have no idea what is wrong with me. This morning is no better. I have the headache from hell and cannot keep anything inside of me. This is not a good day.

Mentally I am ok. If I lie still and don't move I can actually focus on things. I don't know that I am going to last much longer at work today.

Emotionally I am fair. With all that is going on with me physically, I don't have much of a chance to think about anything else.

Be safe and be strong.

Cheers,

ZAB

Sorry to hear you're under the weather, mate. No point in staying at work and passing it on to your colleagues, no? Best to rest up. Hope you feel better soon.

get well soon ZaB - maybe consider a doctor if this goes on too long? - I'm sure you know how easy it is to get dehydrated.

Hi ZaB sorry to hear that you are not well...hoping it will pass quickly. Keep those fluids up if you can.

I'm back from camping and did the whole week sober so tomorrow is a month . Weather was atrocious at times (gale force winds/rain on a couple of days) and so bad we just had to batten down the hatches and sit it out. There was a SA guy there and when he spoke I thought of you, even though you say you don't have a SA accent

Hope you get better soon ZaB
