Great to see you jumping back in with us ChickChick!

The description of Mrs. Arbor made me chuck too....not sure if my spouse would have! My son weighed ten pounds when he was born if that tells you anything.

May I say I've never been more glad to be a guy than after my son's delivery!

huge congrats to those celebrating 8 months! I'm on day 3, actually feeling fantastic, and still grateful for the 6 months I had earlier.

Still working on my diet. It ain't easy. I decided to back off the workouts, which cause me to overeat. Not drinking = finding out about a whole bunch of issues I have to work out.

Hey ChickChick....I'm doing pretty well at the moment. But it took me years and many many failed attempts to get to this point. More than I can remember really. All of that just happens to be prior to SR.

There's nothing special about me....I promise that if I can succeed you can too!

Thank you from! I've been trying for a long time, but thank goodness it seems to be sticking more lately. I've learned so much in the past year. I think I'm definitely going down the right path.

Great to see ya Chick and Ironwoman!

I'm home for a quick nap before therapy this evening and then plan to park it on the couch tonight... Excited to spoil myself a little.

Just wanted to say Hey!

You're doing great Chick. This stuff isn't easy. I slipped in January and couldn't get it under control, so in February I went to outpatient rehab for a month and then two months of aftercare treatment. I've only been back to work for a couple weeks now, but I've got 96 days, and I really feel like the treatment helped a lot. You just have to be honest with yourself about what you need, and go for it. And hang out here. These guys have seen me through all levels of madness and remind me how good sober life can be. Great people!

I haven't had much time to write the past couple days. My editing client has grant reports due this week, and she's an accomplished procrastinator, so it's been some late nights. We're just about done, thank goodness.

Best to you all.

Good morning all! Got DD off to her next gig without a hitch-10 week internship in RI. She arranged everything, including the housing. Hmm, 4th floor walk up in Providence. Quite interesting. I know she won't starve for the next few weeks as I bought the groceries. A quick busy day, then back to work yesterday, then the gym, then my walking group.

Today is work and supermarket. I have one one those feast or famine homes.
We are currently in famine mode. Good thing we have coffee at work! Glad everyone here is doing well.
