Good Morning Lovely Littermates.
2 trick show this evening and its predicted to be in the mid 80s - even that temp is hard on Jack. It's all a matter of what you are used to I guess.
I've been thinking about our Littermates that have not checked in for a while - I pray they are doing good and staying strong.

Good morning!
Speaking of heat, it's supposed to hit 90 here today. So I'm enjoying my deck while I can. It doesn't get shade in the afternoon, so I won't be out here when the sun and heat hit.

BBQ - can you send some of Jack's talent my way? I swear, I have the world's dumbest, most stubborn dog.

I think about our missing folks a lot, too. Hope they are all doing OK.

My dog is a douche. I love him to death but there is really no nicer word for him. Everyone asks why I keep him....because I know anyone else would either beat him or have him put down.

Been rainy here for a few days. Lots of flash flooding.

Ha ha Della! My dog is sweet but so dumb. He barks at everyone who comes near the house, even those of us who live here with him, and other people who are here on a frequent basis. And if you don't IMMEDIATELY read his very vague signals that he wants to go out, he pees where he pleases. I can't get rid of him for the reasons you state about your dog. No one else would put up with him.

I've read post & wish I could have input or encouragement, but I'm to wiped out. I am working over 9 ours a day with 1/2 hour lunch, then to Boss' Bday dinner. Teen Son went with me which was nice as he hasn't been home much,,,,to be 16. Then I came home and watered. We hit a record here for the day yesterday with 109. Goodnight/Day All

Good morning, everyone!
I have to start working on my 4th step today, because I only have 3 weeks left of outpatient treatment and one of the requirements to finish is to do a 5th step. Not particularly looking forward to this. But I'm sure once it's done I'll feel better. I had a lot of time to think in jail, so I'm partway there already. Dredging up the past isn't my favorite activity, but it's necessary.

I am on 4 as well Mary 4 weeks left of outpatient for me. Court on the 25th. We shall see. Once I am done with outpatient I am going to go to a regular counselor for PTSD. I think the alcohol absolutely had to be addressed first but now I need to address some of the underlying issues.

Hope everyone is well...and no one had outrageous heat

I did some PTSD counseling too, but probably not enough. I should get back on that too. It was helping. But like you said, the alcohol needed to be addressed before any meaningful progress could be made on that front.

Good morning folks! Going to rain here pretty much all day. So it's a good day to bake and clean. I also have to design the death announcement for my grandmother. Been putting that off. My family always has me do these things, since I worked as a graphic artist for about 25 years. Makes sense, but this particular one will be hard for me to do.

Good morning!
I wish I had more hummingbirds at my feeder. They are few and far between. But I have lots of other varieties, so that's ok.
I got the announcement done. It's lovely, but it was hard. My mom came over to look at it on my computer screen and it made her cry. So I guess I put the right feeling into it.
