Just two days to go! Sleeping in my own bed will be heaven. I miss curling up with my kitties. Also looking forward to decent food. It's been an interesting experience. So much time to think. Not all of it good. Lots of mental breakthroughs.

Hi brynn. I hate that you are still dealing with this. But, I'm so thankful for small miracles! Glad you are walking some now. That's really good. I'm keeping you close in my heart and praying for you.

What's everyone up to? I'm glad to be home this am, a cup of dark sumatra & the day ahead of me with no big plans. It was a hot muggy day here yesterday and looks like it will be a bit cooler today....going to mow the lawn & water. I'm done with planting for this year and it's just the upkeep , watering & deadheading of everything. I plan on getting to the gym sometime today....30 minutes in the weight room & a speed walk/sprint from there. I am sore from my work out's this week, so maybe a soak in the Jacuzzi after.

Hi Brynn....did you get any clear sky today? Ended up 90 degrees & muggy here. Kid's are into the last couple of weeks of school...my Son is just a sophomore this year but his group of friends are all Seniors, so they had a camp out last night, then to the river to hang out today. I drove him to the swimming hole around 11:00, one of the same spots I hung out at when I was his age.....I walked down to the swimming hole, while waiting for his friends to show up....very nostalgic
Was a nice day.....just really enjoying being sober, embracing it as my new life. I picked my Son up at the swimming hole this afternoon, talked with his girlfriend who I have not met before, had a nice talk with him on the way back to town......I have a really good relationship with him & know that might not have been if I had continued drinking. I am grateful for that tonight.
