I hop on occasionally still when I'm feeling particularly insightful I guess. Tomorrow morning when I wake up will be 775 days. I'll be waking up alone in the house for the first time in probably 6 years. Wife is out of town on a trip for 10 days with some family. Oldest boy living on his own now and youngest off at camp for 3 nights.
I had a little bit of that nibble in the back of my brain that I could go get a 6 pack and no one would ever know. Sat down with a cream soda and the dogs instead. No real craving even but it's crazy how there's still a part of my brain that goes back to alcohol so quick.
Overall life is great though. Sure it's not perfect and still have issues; but it's amazing to live through it instead of just trying to exist and wait it out.

Long time no post in this thread!
This is where it all started for me 30 months and 11 days of sobriety.
Stay sober boys and girls. I use AA and it has totally re-vamped my life. Hope you all are doing well! I just went through some of my old posts and OMG I was a mess!
That was a lifetime ago - I now have a dream job, just bought my first house, life could not be better yet every day it does just that - gets better!
Congrats KIYA! Keep it up!
Miss you all!

Hello Fellas!
Happy to see you again.
It's a whole other life now. God is Good. Life is so much better. I'm thankful and so full of gratitude today. These past couple of years have been the best in my life. I need always remember and never forget. I wake up every morning and thank God for doing for me what I could not do for myself.
I'm thrilled to see you two and hope some of the other classmates are still around and just busy with life.
I've got 933 days today. I get a little overwhelmed when I realize that. Let us all make those days count!
Light and Love,
Kris

Coming up on my 3 years on the 14th.
Can hardly believe it!
Need to remember to take it just ODAAT, though.
"We get a daily reprieve contingent upon our spiritual condition."
Any one stop in here anymore?

CONGRATS to you, too!
I'm so happy to hear all is going WELL for you.
I continue to thank God everyday for my sobriety.
Enjoying the warmth of Florida for the winter.
Keep on keeping on!
