24 Hour Recovery Connections Part 58
Thank you, Dee. Beautiful.
Hi Casey. Welcome.
Ran into an old drinking buddy tonight. And she was a mess. She reeked of alcohol - at an elementary school play. She was a close talker, played with my hair, told me I was beautiful & kept saying how much she missed me. She thought something was wrong because she had not heard from me in so long. I told her I've never been better. She left early. I presume to go drink more.
I'm headed to bed with my sobriety intact. Not even the least bit tempted to go back to that life. I remain eternally grateful for that.
Love you all. Thank you for being here.

I'm in for 24 hours of sobriety. This marks weekend #13 for me with zero booze. Weekends were where 90% of my bad drinking happened. While not happy with my midweek drinking, other than my Feb 18th night from he!!, I rarely overdid it midweek. So 25 days in a row, 87 of 88 days and for me, and most importantly, 13 consecutive weekends. (Yes, I like numbers)
