Phew.

The weekend has gone so quickly again, but I'm ready to hit the ground running tomorrow. I've been rereading a David Allen book "ready for anything" and I'm inspired to put some of his strategies in to action at work. I quite like experimenting with new ideas.

I'm too big of a softie and can't hold on to anger that much lol...she had a fantastic night she texted my sister and I in a group chat and thanked both of us...she was on something but eh I really don't even care...she ate which was good and only drank soda at the establishment...I really couldent ask for more on her end...just not around me...def went well and I thank you guys deeply

Woke up cranky and irritable today cause of the heat, it went to the 80s in temperature (not sure what that is in Celsius) but it's hot, and my apartment dosent have the best circulation...tried my best to not snap on anyone and did good...doing a few hours at work tonight and gonna play some Videogames/watch a movie when I get off...hope everyone else is ok!!!! <3

We are dropping in numbers.......

The last few days have been hard. Anna had a couple of tough days and we had no sleep. It's a real stretch at times to keep your sanity and to keep balanced.
The AV has sensed the weakness and has also been playing up with old justifications and mind games..... Just waiting, all the time....!!!!

I know that if I had at any time caved in there would have been consequences in my relationships. Especially with wife and Anna, it's hard to keep balanced the whole time. It's not easy to catch a break. Both are well and no real dramas, but it's exhausting.......

Hope all are well out there...........

Hi guys....just a quick check in for me here......I got really sick last night....food poisoning I think from the natural peanut butter I packed for lunches yesterday....thankfully, my DIL, snubbed my picnic lunch & they ate from the cafe, I couldn't very well call in sick on a Monday morning after 2 weeks, & boy did I want to. Felt like I was hung over all day, but survived & crawling in bed with some stomach ease tea & hopefully get a good nights sleep. Natural peanut butter needs to be refrigerated after its opened!!

Hope you feel better today, Mariah. I'm just looking at my peanut butter to see if it says refrigerate .... no it's fine, it's likely got so many additives that no living organism could survive very long in it!

UP, I was wondering when the exhaustion would hit, you've kept up the energy longer than most though!

Quick check in after a non stop day. Finals are done and went well! Yay!

But my little brother is in town. He got a one way ticket to come visit me. He recently flunked out of school and my parents basically unloaded him on me to "fix him" (my mother literally told me that's what I could do for her for mother's day...) Launching their frantic (and crazy) son on their recovering alcoholic daughter: what a great idea!

He's a spinning top and it's really stressing me out. He has zero boundaries. And he's generally impossible. We're like oil and water. One of us might not survive this...

Anyway, I'm going to try and catch up more with everyone tomorrow. Hope everyone continues fighting the AV (good job UP)! Happy Birthday Mariah! And seems like things are generally pretty good ST. Hi obo and free!

Hopefully I can get some rest without my brother accidentally breaking any more furniture...

I hope things work out between you and your brother rocks. I can't believe that your parents would try and make you responsible for straightening out your brother, especially with you early in recovery, that's a parents job. Don't let him threaten your recovery, if it comes down to you or him you have to choose you.

Hope you are doing ok obo, early parenthood can be very stressful. You are making the smart choice for you and your family by resisting the AV.
