its tough. My friend is going through and honestly is having a tougher time even trying to find a way to stop. His motivation for a different life isn't there and its tough leaving him alone while I continue to struggle. 3 weeks plus one day today. yay.

.....I survived Sat night with companion drinking quite a bit over the course of the evening. I want to drink late afternoon but ride it out for a couple of hours and the evening is ok.

I want to have fun. Been staying busy hanging with my son. Urges aren't bad. Pretty doable. Which of course my dragon tells me I've got this and that its ok to ride on its back today.

Morning All! Great work everyone and congrats on all the milestones. Beautiful morning here - I'm in Sheffield for the weekend, visiting my Mum. When I arrived on Friday she told me she'd forgotten to get me some beers in! :-) Shame! Co-incidence? Yes, but it's still quite funny! :-)
I haven't told her I was stopping for good - there's no need really, not for the moment anyway; just told her I was having a break. Day 16 for me - unheard of!

Morning all...day 15 for me. I'm making 2 mugs of tea and back to bed for an hour to read my book. Wonderful feeling to wake up on a Sunday morning without a hangover, pounding heart and severe dehydration. I'm going to the gym at 10.00am for a class....

Congratulations on DAY 26!!! You must feel pretty pleased with yourself and if you don't you should take a moment
Funny how we're all a bit different. I can usually get through the afternoon with less distraction/temptation - it's the evening that hits me.
