Itch, glad to hear that your MIL is doing better. Sad about your FIL though. Luckily my Dad's mind was sharp right up until the end. My brother has to handle all of Mom's finances as she always let Dad do all of that. It takes a special kind of person to be a full-time caregiver, that's for sure.

It's actually SNOWING a bit here this morning...such is April in Wisconsin.

Evening all, early starts to my days this week as I am doing some overtime, which means I don't get to SR until evening, by which time my brain had already gone to bed, fluffed up the pillows and drawn up the covers!

And good night from the US Central Time zone, GMT-6. It passed us by today with one little shower. I got stuck in the mud trying to cut the grass and try to get ahead of it before the big storms tomorrow. 1/4 is still underwater and can't be cut.

Hi Andy, Venus has some personal loss going on and her dad is sick, but she has been signing in every day on the 24 thread and keeps in with my Marchers 13 thread. I will tell her you're asking after her. X

Mags I am glad to hear you are feeling content. So many of us in our younger years are always seeking something just out of reach and never appreciate what we actually have. I believe gratitude and acceptance are a huge part of sobriety, and developing both of those lead to contentment. I too am very happy with my life.

Plans have really been moving this week. We've scheduled my Dad's final interment for this coming Saturday. His ashes are being buried in his hometown cemetery, which is about a 450 mile round-trip for me. He's getting full military honors, which is always very solemn to witness. Should be some nice closure for our family.

Well winter is back apparently. It snowed all day yesterday, after teasing us with afew days of beautiful summery weather. Oh well that's the north I'm told it's normal but we had a lightning and thunder storm the other night which is very unusual for this time of year. Climate change!
Well just sitting here having some oatmeal and coffee and listening to kate bush. dog got me up early this morning by vomiting on the bedroom floor. Gross.
Anyway have a wonderful Thursday overs.

Hey Wolf, my doc peeled off some crust off my eardrum today on my follow up. It was dried fluid from the inner ear that WA making my eardrum irritated. Now that hurt, but my hearing picked up a few points. Going back in a month to see if the hearing has improved more in that ear. He hasn't ruled out surgery to drain my mastoid, but it's looking good not to need it.

Went into town to register the utility trailer and got all the sewer hoses, connectors, drinking water hose, and leveling blocks and chocks for the RV trailer too. Busy day, little rain, big storms tomorrow again.

It's even colder here in VA today than it was yesterday! This after last week's 80 degrees! I'm back in "THE COAT" this morning!

I still have frost on the windshield this morning. However, it should start warming up here soon (I hope).
