Thanks, Dee

B, thanks for asking. I actually went home the same day I had the surgery. The numbing agent has worn off so the pain is a bit worse but manageable.

Cast, this is actually my third of what will be 5 ankle surgeries on both ankles. A few years ago I shredded all the soft tissue in both ankles simultaneously. This surgery was minor though. An incision to the bone to cut away 4 suture knots that were working their way up and out through my skin. No physical therapy needed this time as I am actually weight bearing. I walked out of the hospital after surgery. I was actually going to ask if you set off detectors!! Haha! I'm pretty sure super human speed comes along with 8 screws and a plate. I know I read that somewhere

Brynn, I'm missing you! I hope you have some time soon to hang around.

Morning litter

Hope all is well and having a good day
I may go in for some boring training today or I may just F off and do whatever.
Can hear the people upstairs fighting. It was so nice as MR heavy foot was away for a month. Now he's home again. Always home unemployed loud pot smoker. Nice enough though.

Stay strong folks. What's for lunch mld? I do like the aero press coffee but it's a lot more hands on than kuerig. I think it's for people who buy coffee that's been roasted within the last two weeks kinda thing. Little snobby. Made our old cheap coffee taste good but drinking some yuppie chow stuff is pretty stellar.

Thanks, West. I forgot she said that.

Big, I think you should have a whatever day....one that does not involve being at home around mister heavy foot. You deserve a nice day to just do things you enjoy!

Big- I hope you have a fun day whatever you decide to do. I hate hearing people fighting. I notice that a lot traveling. Sad.

Happy to be on day 2. Thankfully I'll never have to do another day 1. Still feeling humbled by my bad behavior but will try to focus on positive. I'm sober, I'm healthy (mostly still feeling the after effects of booze) I have a new job to look forward to. And my problem has a simple solution, if I don't drink I am 100% ok.....not too shabby right?!

Kitty, you are awesome. I am always taken by your positivity. Good things are coming your way! I just know it.

The ankles...I took a handful of xanax and drank a crap ton and I lost my balance and fell. I was told I looked like an accordion collapsing the way I swayed from leg to leg. I only remember laying in the front yard groaning. That was almost three years ago and I'm still dealing with it. You'd think that would have been enough incentive to quit drinking but nope. I just HAD to keep going.

Well I got my home breathalyzer thing today. I'll have to test myself 4x per day, at set times, until after my court date. It takes a picture of me while I'm blowing into it. I bet the pictures are just gorgeous. :| the data is uploaded via cellular signal. Pretty slick, actually. There are different units that are really bulky and have to be hooked up to a landline in order to upload data. They are cheaper to "rent" but I wanted the convenience.

Here's what it looks like.
