BBQBiker- Have fun at the VA!

Tonks- have fun at the VA!

(I am glad I am not going to the VA today. It would be fun to volunteer though)

Mary- the day outside yesterday sounds relaxing. it is so muddy here you really can't do a lot out in the yard. have fun at the coast tomorrow.

cast- I hope the sleep schedule gets straightened out. I can't nap in the day or drink caffeine after 2 pm or 3 pm if I want to sleep.

Della- we filed taxes last week and then yesterday we got a updated tax form.
we called the company we got it from and they said they would pay if H&R Charged us any extra to fix it.

Good morning y'all!!

Thanks for checking in cast! Sleep problems are the worst, so I say sleep when you can!

Now...where is Mr Big? Hope you're feeling better Big, check in soon please!

I feel a little left out cause I'm not going to the VA today! but my brother is....does that count? .

It's my day off too, Della, and last night I set my alarm cause I forgot!! Luckily I have insomnia and realized it about 3am! Blah!

Ok, so I have to admit that another perk of having exes mom here is she makes really good coffee and she made a yummy gluten free zucchini bread for breakfast! I'm sitting on my patio being waited on () enjoying our gorgeous spring weather! (It's coming northern people, hang on).

Mary....I hope you have a lovely trip and are able to relax and get refreshed!

Love you guys ❤️

Late check in for me today - was just getting caught up with what I missed here last night. Watched the Wisconsin game and then promptly crashed.

I need to get out and exercise. It's too cold to walk here today, but next week it's going to get into the mid 60's! I'll be outside cleaning up flowerbeds and stuff like that. Itching to plant, but it's way too soon for that. I'm planning a new flower bed, and my daughter and son-in-law and I are going to till up a chunk of the back yard for a vegetable garden. I've always wanted one, but never got around to it. My mom has a huge one out in the country where she lives, so I get lots of stuff from her every year. But it would be nice to be able to run out back and grab a tomato or some lettuce whenever I want. So looking forward to that.

Morning Marty!

Veggie garden is one of my goals this spring too! I've got one that I didn't do much to last year...too busy drinking to bother....but ive only ever had tomatoes, beans, and peppers. I'd love to branch out and do some lettuce and maybe corn and cucumbers!
Can't wait to hear what you plant!

Yeah drinking was one of the reasons I haven't done it. I cringe when I think of all the nice summer days spent sitting in a bar.

Who's coming for dinner tonight? I just put a pork roast in the crockpot, and as usual, it's wayyyyy too much food for me and my son.

Marty- the pork roast sounds great! I have never had a veggie garden because I travel too much. I may get some plants and share a garden with my neighbors. I am thinking about it.
I am at the gym now on the bicycle! Lol!

brynn- I dropped the papers off at H&R they will have to do a amended tax form!

hi Copper!

B-you are right about new knives being a pleasure!! hubby brought home chicken thighs with the skin still on them! So the knives came in handy. Not a problem at all!!
