24-Hour Recovery Connections Part 45
Thanks for all your posts. It's good to hear from others who find Sobriety to be #1 in our lives. Without it we are doomed to a lifetime of misery and worse. Congratulations to all in their Milestones, be it 1 hour, 24 hours or more. It all counts in the big picture.
Yeesh...One of our main Network Switches decided to die overnight. Effectively knocking out our ENTIRE admin network for about 8 hours this morning.
Sometimes being the an IT guy is beyond frustrating. *When are we getting it back?* *We need it back!* *How long will it be out??*
Anyways, I've done what i can...My Manager is here sorting out a solution for the time being.
*Ominous Music...Friday the 13th indeed!*
Anyways. NOT drinking today. And NOTHING will change that fact.
Dying Network Equipment included!

Hi Sick! Welcome back.
Thank you guys! Pushing forward. Learning to accept that I truly am an alchoholic and cannot drink, period! I'm truly happy to be on this journey with each and every one of you! Hope you are having a wondeful day!

Survived the earliest airport run ever. 4:30 a.m. you stink but your traffic flow is awesome. Spring Break is coming to an end and hubby is back on the road gigging for a week & 1/2. All is getting back to normal...
24 more, please. Congrats to all who are here - milestoners & otherwise. I love each of you!
10:29 a.m. in Dallas.

Signing in for 24 more at 10:29am. Decorating for Spring Welcoming (only 1 more week)! And looking for what ever Easter stuff I have in the basement...not much but just enough to make the house look festive!
Asking for 24 more by the grace of God.
Congrats to all those celebrating a milestone today!
Congrats to Allyn, Trees and Dane!!!
Congrats to all those sober today!
Prayers for those sick or struggling.

Dutch hyacinth is one of the most fragrant flowers of early spring.
Hyacinthus orientalis. In Greek mythology, Apollo’s lover, the hero Hyacinth, was killed by accident or malice. Apollo was saddened by his death, & made the flower grow where his blood spilled.
How can so sweet a flower grow out of pain and suffering? The story gives me a little hope that from my experience, bad as it was, good may come.
See you tomorrow, I hope!
