Had a great first day home. I took care of a couple of errands, got a couple of problems fixed, and then I was taken out to dinner by my home group to celebrate my birthday (belly button) after chairing tonight's meeting. And I'm looking forward to a good day tomorrow.

Congratulations to the milestoners!

Happy Birthday Dane, happy to hear your being celebrated by your friends.

We got back from dinner a little bit ago too. My husband and 3 of of his brothers are driving out to Vegas early in the A.M. Playing golf, playing music, and seeing Ringo Starr and the AllStar Band.
I'm checking in for the next 24 hours of my recover, thanks to my HP & AA.

I have been up all night, It's now 5:18 am. I have to kick out a resident at the sober house that I manage today. God grant me the serenity... I hate this part of my job. I could have sent him on his way in the middle of the night but I'm being nice and waiting until a descent hour when it's warm and he has a better chance of finding a place to go.
meanwhile I'm finishing a pot of coffee and being patient.
So I'm asking for another day of sobriety and strength to do what must be done.
