I was one of those reasonable/responsible drinkers at some points in my life. It kind of came and went over the course of time. It's really the last 4-5 years things got out of control, I felt, for good. I didn't think I could ever go back to reasonable drinking. I tried and tried. Made promises to myself and others - "just a couple and then home." I do envy those people who can do that. But I know I wouldn't be that way if I started drinking again.

Good Evening Litter.
Middy - we love you and we are so glad you are getting back up and moving forward.
Tonks - too funny about the car thing. How did it go at the VA? I find the process of volunteers getting IDs to be very comical. I wonder how it is for employees. Additionally, I have never had to show my ID.
Jen, how was the exam?
Marty, Big and Cast - I am the same way. I cannot moderate and I wonder at those that can. A little bit of jealousy too if the truth be known.
Cast - how is you hand? So glad you are back in the fold. We miss you when you are out and away.
Brynn, sorry you had to go to work after all. I'm still wearing my tiara - how about you? I bet they love it at work.
Thanks to Mary we are all still enjoying the Key Lime pie and Kenny Chesney.

Tonks, dinner tonight is my soon to be famous homemade meatloaf with BBQ gravy and Brussels sprouts. Shall I set you a plate?

Hey y'all! Well...I made it through a grueling 3 hours of work, yay!

Cast...I've always been fascinated by people who can drink normally, too. I remember watching people...counting their drinks/ how long it took them to drink one drink, in order to 'learn' what normal was. I could replicate 'normal' when I had too, ONLY if I drank a lot before the event. And in those cases where I HAD to pretend to be a normal drinker, I felt so much anxiety at having to limit my intake, I would be close to full blown panic attacks. Crazy!

Sis B...better set a place for Marty, too! Hope you get a dinner break or snack break soon!

Glad you're safe at home being lazy, Big! How's your kitty?

Hey Christina, middy(be safe traveling tomorrow), Jen (exam??), tonks (mmm...tacos), Mary, kitty, copper and rose and Dax and fabl and princess Shannon and sunking and dee! Sorry if I didn't mention anyone! I'm getting old! How old do you have to be to be considered a cougar???

Hi team,

Exam went well, though I was having a hard time concentrating to study for some reason.
I thought I was doomed, because word on the street is that this prof gives hard tests.
But as I wrote, I found it pretty easy, but I go to every lecture, so I think that helps.

I really wonder about those people that have 1 or 2 drinks then go home, I can't.
Well, actually I can, but then I go home and drink a bottle of wine, sometimes I wonder how many others do that too.
I didn't look like an alcoholic, I hid it.

Thanks BBQBiker! your supper sounds amazing.

JSBodhi- I am glad your exam went well. I hope you don't have anymore for awhile!

Brynn- thanks I am all packed and ready to go! I hope your three hours at work went fast.

I can't stop after one or two drinks either. It is rare when I did.

I am super glad to be sober today!

Oh middy!! I'm super glad you're sober today too!

I don't think 46 is too young for anything.....I am expecting literature from AARP any day now.

Love you best, too, Della!

Middy...cherry water sounds divine! Is it fizzy? I like fizzy stuff!
I'm babysitting right now...kind of an emergency thing....moms not doing well and they are at the ER. The baby's asleep right here beside me so we're just hanging out tonight!

Crazy night at the box office. I'll never understand people who show up at 7:29 for a 7:30 show. Drives me nuts. We had to hold the doors for almost 10 minutes tonight because people kept straggling in. I earned my measly paycheck tonight. Came home and inhaled some food - now heading to bed. Goodnight gang.
