It's pie in the face day- Banana Cream Pie, that is!
Here are some pie facts so you can win the Pie Trivia Contest I know you'll be going to later....
Nearly one out of five (19%) of Americans prefer apple pie, followed by pumpkin (13%), pecan (12%), banana cream (10%) and cherry (9%)
Until the early 1900’s Pie was considered a breakfast food.
In England, Oliver Cromwell banned the eating of pie in 1644, declaring it “a pagan form of pleasure”
“Wet bottom” molasses pie, Shoo-fly pie, were not originally made to eat. They were used to attract flies from the kitchen. They would stick to the pies.
Early colonists cooked their pies in long narrow pans calling them “coffins” Round pies were not common until the early 1800’s.
OMG- Shoo Fly Pie is a family favorite- can't wait to share that little tidbit!!

Congrats to everyone on a milestone and thoughts to anyone struggling
Still not feeling great mrs sw has come off worse she has lost her voice and is coughing a lot but its more dry coughing whereas i am just coughing up gunk and still have my voice (sorry thats gross)

Just about over my stomach bug but not feeling great, hope to get back to the gym tomorrow. Since I stopped drinking and smoking,i've got one illness after the other,what's up with that?

I love this time of night, everyone else asleep and a quiet house mean time for sober reflection and tranquillity. When I drank I had neither of those, I'm finally finding peace with myself.
One week sober today after my little relapse, that was a mistake I definitely learned from...
Big congrats to everyone on the milestoners list, wishing strength to everyone struggling or just starting their journey.
Remember, you're stronger than you think. Believe in yourself, and others will believe in you

One weekend is enough to remind me. I can finally say that I'd rather be sober. Time to stop quitting when it gets hard. Time for some grit.

Hope you enjoyed the game yest Sugar. I'm a futbol & rugby fan too! Must be not the only one hurting coz I fell while few feet from last nite's mtg coz of black ice everywhere! Not once, not twice but holy crap three times & the last one hit back of head & left shoulder really hard; shoulder still hurts but thankful it wasn't forward or probably would have hurt my recently worked on knee....ahhh it feels better to let y'all know where I'm @ so thx. On way to mtg w/ bunch of crazy guys in the car so will sign in @ 8:25pm in MD
