24-hour Recovery Connections Part 43
I think it was on here I mentioned our new dog - who we picked up yesterday.
Here's a couple of photos - one is when she met my son for the first time and the second is cuddling after our first long walk. I would point out it was a bad angle and (despite what my son says about my glasses and hair in the corner) I am NOT a cross between Beaker and Scooter muppet !!
Sorry for the size!!

The Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi tree, in Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka, was planted in 288 BC from a branch of the tree in India under which Siddharta Gautama attained buddhahood.
I feel very fortunate to have stood near that tree, many many years ago. If I had it all to do over again, would I have spent more time in meditation and less time drinking 100 proof Sri Lankan coconut arrack, a truly vile liquor?
As a good Buddhist would say, that question doesn’t lead to enlightenment. Think not on the past, but be sober & in the present, until you come here next again!

It got warm on the gulf! One day we're bundling up and shivering, then the next day we 're sweating and looking for shade. I am powerless over the weather, but at least my life is no longer unmanageable!!
Congratulations to the milestoners!!!
