Class of October 2014 Part 11
Conquest my love ~ how was your night last night? Spill.
I know you are very private, so I'm just teasing....hope it was wonderful!!!
Chick ~ so so good to see you here. We have missed you. And I got all happy when I saw those yummy cinnamon rolls...I love them. There are a few sweet treats I adore, and may I please come over to eat some? Well done on killing the bear, although the bear skin made me kind of sad.
Briar ~ it's OK hun. If you only knew the many many embarrassing things I have done while drunk, and they weren't shared with friends in recovery. Oh No. Lordy, I cringe just thinking about it...I was a nightmare on wheels.
Arbor ~ your poor wife. She doesn't need that while she is pregnant. And poor you; now you have two sickies to look after. Glad you didn't get the virus!!!
phoebe ~ so glad Chick mentioned your crafting. What a great thing to do in this weather. And oh my gosh, that snow...so much snow...so unfathomable to me. I hope you stay warm, and enjoy your hot food. The salads can wait love!
from ~ your imagery is always so beautiful. I can almost hear that mockingbird!! And I would really like to try cornbread, so please save me some.
How is your day today Leigh? What are you up to love?
OK ~ the bad news is that I was really ill all night. Terrible tummy pains, and I was freezing. Went to bed with just a sheet as it was hot, and I was just too sick to manage to grab the doona during the night. My head hurts, and I'm feeling awful. I can't work. Going to have to do a double again tomorrow. Sigh.
The good news is that I get to be here with all of you on a Sunday.

Oh love, I am at the very beginning. It will more than likely be years...the doc said easily four is common. And really, I am not worried anymore.
TBH, what I put myself through with my addiction was far harder than this is. This is do-able. I am strong. I will be OK in a day or so. And now I know what to expect, and why, so I don't have to worry.
I am sorry to hear you went through such a rough time with it....being a woman is really hard sometimes.

Chili simmering and about to mix up the corn bread! Bought some new tea at Kroger today too.
I raked it myself behind my house. There's a about 30 acres with lots of pines and the owner lets me get what I want. Pine straw is the most common bedding stuff around here. This part of the south is called the pine belt.

We used to get it at Panera Bread all the time when we were in high school. I just made the soup for the longest time. But I started baking a lot more the past few years and so I had to try it! So yummy! It's kind of a novelty for the kids too.
