popping in to say Hi. I am back at work and in the thick of it- a bit of a shock to the system- also had to work to weekend to I am 7 days into 12 straight- it's not really healthy.
I auditioned for a band last week as well- got in- really enjoyed the sound- they are in the process of getting it together but really solid keys and rhythm section- I have a lot of work to do now to learn the stuff and catch up- no time for TV
Sobriety is doing it for me!!

Instant that sounds like too much work for me, but glad you got into the band.
All is well in Tootsville, got a busy few weeks up as daughter and grandson are moving in for a month as they are between house moves ( an unexpected delay on the new house, just as well we have the room!)

BRRRR...it's -5F here this morning and that's WITHOUT the wind.
Got my state and federal taxes done yesterday. I'll be getting a pretty nice chunk of change back this year, so that's always nice.
Rusty, how'd the big gig go last night?
Not much else to report today. My brothers are getting together with Mom this weekend, so I hope to talk with them later to see how it went.

I didnt post as i dedicated valentines to Mrs Sw & we had a great day & night, ive had a wonderful weekend
(since turning 18 months i am only going to count by year i was planning to stop at year 2 but i think 18 months is a good marker to stop)

Us too for us. Not as cold as you. Cold front moved in tonight but the giant pile of leaves was just burning out - great timing. My accountant told me yesterday to have the retirement W2 by next Friday or she'd make me sleep on the couch!

Haha Gilmer yes GSon & gpa reunited indeed, fortunately for me only at weekends, the farting competitions would leave the house uninhabitable otherwise! Still, I anticipate some practicing to go on during the week in preparation for gpas return!
Just the one Tot Itchy and not so tottie anymore, he will be nine in May, crikey how time flies!
FBL, that is cold! I've been watching the weather in Boston and felt kinda glad I got delayed going back across, still the way things look, if we do go back it will be in time for the Nov/dec snow fall.

Wolfie, I still get a little excitement as the 14th rolls up every month, nothing wrong with recognising our achievement even if it is mostly just a little private dance of joy.

Actually speaking of stopping counting I think I am three years and nine months yesterday.................. but who's counting? My big issue is that I bought a guitar for each of my "years" sober - I want to continue in that vein of some indulgence of a durable consumable I can use in a productive way- I need to make some decisions
