this past week I saw my ex-wife she is not good still in her addiction, I try to help but she is not ready. them I told her to leave my place with the help of the police. it was one year no seeing or talking to her, her parents got involve and blame me, my step kids are not talking to me. I learn that is ok. that all of that is in God's plans. I may be in emotional pain now but this is my journey, and they have their own and I have to accepted as it is.

Slightly 'off topic' to the purpose of the thread but I'm so happy.
Around about now (6.30pm Sun Eve in the UK) last week I had my last drink. Followed up a couple of hours later by joining SR.
Signing up for 24 hours and the visitor messages I have received from being here have been instrumental in a successful 7 days.
Thank you and sorry for taking things off on a tangent x

. I'm checking in for the next 24 hours of my recovery, thanks to my HP & AA. Tonight we're going to check out the Breaking Bad spinoff. That show is so good...but gotta at least see the 1st episode of the Saul show ( forgot the official name).
I hope you all had a nice weekend.
DaneK our cruise this summer leaves out of Galveston. I've got us booked in a hotel for 3 nights in San Antonio ( switched from Houston), then the night before cruise staying in Webster, Texas. I just thought that Galvston hotels were too much $$, for the reviews I read on Trip Advisor.
