I’ve wanted to post a picture of this flower for a long time, and now the language of flowers gives me a reason. One of the meanings of the fuchsia is confided love. Like as in, if you were a young Victorian lady, you wouldn’t tell your love to anyone. But you might send a picture of it to one you trusted.
What is it about the fuchsia that conveys secret love? The way they keep their heads down, but bloom so brilliantly? More on fuchsias, which have an interesting story, another day.
Stay tuned – same time, same place tomorrow!
