24-Hour Recovery Connections Part 34
Had this big post typed up & the website crapped out completely. Took me to a strange page I've never seen before. I was just blathering anyway. Main & most important point was that I asked for 24 more in Dallas. And "Go Packers!"
Better, thanks, but I'm afraid this vacation has been largely wasted on me. Oh well! There's sunshine & birds & much to be grateful for.
DaneK, I'm so glad your father is ok.
I'm not drinking but I surely miss my regular support and will be happy to be home in a few days! Hugs to all!

The language of flowers is a way of talking through flowers that was popular in the U.S. & the U.K. in the 19th century. Asian cultures have their own flower languages as well. I’m trying to learn a few specimens.
Solanum dulcamara, aka Bittersweet, aka woody nightshade, represents “truth” in the language of flowers. Truth is a precious thing, bitter or sweet. Here’s one of mine, in the spirit of truth: I was in a bad way when I was drinking, but with help, I’m better now.
Truly, I hope we all have another 24 hours of sobriety!
