We're having second thoughts about Mom's present home. It seems that most of the others that live there are quite a bit older and much more "far gone" than Mom. My brothers are looking into some other buildings located within the same general complex to see if they can't find her a better fit. Her 30-day review comes up this week, so we'll see what the head nurse has to say about the situation. It's hard for me, being so far away, but I trust my brothers to make the right decision.
It does sound like a good idea to move your mum so that she can be with people who are more suitable for her.

FBL I hope your mom gets relocated, I know from when I worked in elder care that those with all their faculties suffered for not being stimulated mentally and physically daily.

Possibly Record High Temps around Boulder Colorado pending today. Still some Snow in the shade, I'm told.

While in a Crosswalk, his Daughter was killed in Boulder by a Car. That helped send him into the abyss. Ultimately, his message today is one of great hope.
Just in front of the Snow-covered Continental Divide at ~8,600' was 'Caribou Studios'. This Song originally was recorded there.

Yeah--we got an inch of snow. Very light. But school was closed, anyway!
A couple of weeks ago we got a sudden snow that really started coming down hard about 6 am. They made the call to keep schools open, and there were accidents and buses 3 hours late! Parents were outraged and really reamed the superintendent.
Thus, now for every stray flake, school is cancelled!
My son and I are thrilled!

Apparently we have to get the 'leftovers' of the snow tomorrow - got my boots re-heeled this afternoon and all my ironing done and generally been a busy bee so that I am completely prepared for faffing about tomorrow lol

Dreamt about my mum and dad and vodka last night, mum and dad passed away years ago, but I was talking to them in my dream they hadn't died. It was nice. Not sure why I dreamt of them, tho, I never had peace when I lived with them, but in my dream we was all peaceful and happy. Perhaps I've moved on. The vodka, ah well that usually tries to rear its head now and again, I stamped on it.yay.
