24-Hour Recovery Connections Part 32
Hi everyone.
What can I say my first full year sober and drug free.
So grateful for what I been going through I learn lots about me, but my AV still talks to me and sometime is easy to say bye and sometimes is hard but living one day at the time is being the key for this drunk drug addict.
Lots more work to do I got me a new sponsor going to do another set of steps.
every one have a blast fun sober/drug free NYE where ever you are. Will be here is you need extra encouragement today.

The way I look at it, if you post here on New Year’s Eve and keep your commitment to sobriety into 2015, then 2014 was an excellent, wonderful year – it ends sober.
I hope you come back tomorrow and we’ll all start 2015 right, together!

Signing in for another 24 hours of sanity at 3PM from the Midwest US.
This thread has me all giddy! I Love the positivity!!!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR....another chance to get it right !!!!!
"New Year's Day. A fresh start. A new chapter in life waiting to be written. New questions to be asked, embraced, and loved. Answers to be discovered and then lived in this transformative year of delight and self-discovery. Today carve out a quiet interlude for yourself in which to dream, pen in hand. Only dreams give birth to change."
"The new year stands before us, like a chapter in a book, waiting to be written. We can help write that story by setting goals."
"write it on your heart that each day this New Year will be the best"
I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes. Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You're doing things you've never done before, and more importantly, you're doing something.
Your success and happiness lies in you. Resolve to keep happy, and your joy and you shall form an invincible host against difficulties.
Let our New Year's resolution be this: we will be there for one another as fellow members of humanity, in the finest sense of the word.
Year's end is neither an end nor a beginning but a going on, with all the wisdom that experience can instill in us.
Take a leap of faith and begin this wondrous new year by believing. Believe in yourself. And believe that there is a loving Source - just waiting to be asked to help you make your dreams come true.
Be at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors, and let every new year find you a new person.
Lets roll this New Year in Sober, hand in hand!!!!!!
Lots of Love and Hugs to my faves!!!!!

Agree w/ Goose333 that 'twas a good yr! Was thinking bout how to describe it & that's same conclusion had. Believe me when I say tis been a very long time since I said that bout ANY yr. Nothing materially speaking of course, however one of my goals this yr was to understand that trials bring me closer to God to produce perseverance, character and hope! That my friends, definitely was accomplished. Also grateful that this yr, I took care of myself from head to toe & mainly getting that surgery in sept. Last but not least, began on working my amends with my old man. So so blessed by that. Yes to Gilmer & others, I was able to stay sober all yr .Glad you found us JSM273
So here's to my last sign in for '14 & see the rest of you already in '15 again! 24 more in cold MD
