That's fair enough Gypsy, actually I am not planning on having anyone over for quite a while so wasn't expecting this to be an issue. I agree with you.

Morning all. My 3 yr old was standing by my bed at 4:50. I don't believe I went to sleep after that. Bleh!

And I gave up caffeine 11 days ago.

Applekat - that happens a lot with my kitty. You get the feeling you're being watched...... : )

I agree with others who feel no alcohol in the house during early recovery. My husband does not have a problem with alcohol, and he has been having a drink with friends after work maybe once a week (of course, he can stop at one). He doesn't bring it home.

Day 28 for me.

Time to knuckle down, everyone -- the holidays are coming before you know it. Plan plan plan! Know what you're going to do in these situations before they happen.

Woo hoo, November class!

Ugh, Applekat! I hope you can get a nap in today!

I was up around 7:30, I think. been doing some online shopping and organizing our family calendar for the month. I happily made pancakes for my son first thing. My daughter go the cold ones, lol, after sleeping until 10:30am.

Not much exciting or new today.

Checking in, experiencing the special hell that is a laser tag party. I would drop my son off and run errands, but my friend is hosting so I feel like I should stay. Plus, I only have an hour until I have to take him to another party in a different town. Kind of hectic, but I like to stay busy...it helps.

Hit a rough AV patch and just got through it.

Has anyone else, in that situation, felt a physical release or relief...I don't really know the word for it. I'm sitting there working through it and it's like, boom, AV defeated and this waive of some feeling just kind of goes through me. Kind of odd.

Anyway. Glad I made it through.

Hi Everyone!
Just checking in. Had a good day, picked up that Allan Carr drinking book, going to read it and get something to eat, nice quiet night in bed, hope you all are doing well!

Good work! Usually, I just realize later that the craving is gone. My AV will just sneak away, embarrassed at its failure.

Feeling a little tense, so I am going to take some aspirin and a hot bath. This seems to be my coping mechanism right now.
