Class of August 2014 Part 12
1Step, I am very sorry that happened to you. How frightening! Your story is similar to others on the team who have said that when they slipped they drank worse than ever before. It is something we can all learn from.
Stay with us; keep posting; keep trying.

Not good. My broken nose is hurting. My stitches were taken out by amateurs and that is killing too.
They say there's nothing to be done except let it heal by itself.
That being said don't wanna whinge after what 1step went through. Hope you feeling better mate.

Thanks Choobie! And Knb! 2 weeks isn't that long, but for me, its a very good start. I figure every sober day counts. I think anyone who fails, and keeps getting back up to bat, and wants to, is still in the game.
Calichris, loved your story about the speeding and ticket. Sorry you got one, but it could have gone the other way like you said, if you had been drinking. Way to go friend! Feels fantastic, doesn't it? 88mph? What? My old hoopdie doesn't even go that fast!
1step, I'm so sorry about what happened to you, but glad you are going to be ok, and you are back. Its scary to know what may happen to us when we pick up. Been there, too many times.
Captain, I hope you feel better soon. A broken nose is very bad, and painful, I'm sure. Keep posting, keep reading. Stay with us.
Tonight I treated myself to a dinner out with my Mom. Hubster is out of town till Saturday, so that means I don't have to cook. Yay! We went to Olive garden. Will have to add some more walking tomorrow to burn those calories off! But it was so worth it, every delicious bite.
Hope everyone is doing well, hanging in there. Will catch up more tomorrow team.
Let's all stay strong, and focused on our goals. We can and will do this!

Hi all, thought I'd better check in as I saw my name mentioned.
Just a quicky as I'm on the mobile.
Well done on the recent anniversaries guys.
Also a warm "Team A" welcome back to everyone whos had a tough time recently. To come back and face everyone with the feelings of embarrassment, anger & guilt (I suspect thats how I'd feel) is great courage and strength. To come back also shows how helpful this group is in times of need and how we're so important to each other. Long may it continue.
I have just completed 3 calender months sober today (6th Nov).
Keep strong guys. Its possible.

Hey team,
Just wanted to say my net services are going to be cut off again. Soon. Im hoping I will get that job, and be able to post more as my income allows. Im not saying goodbye at all, just wanted to let my team know whats going on with me, if they dont see me around here for a bit. I will be back, when my budget allows it. Keep going strong team. I plan on doing the same.

Evening all. I know I've been in flyby mode but it's just been me all week and that leads to 16 hour days straight through.
Glad to see you back Glandon. And well done, sir.
1step, I'm sorry you had to go through that but I'm glad you're back. Reminds us all of what we face.
Well done ph7!
Hope getting a few days is helping your resolve Capt.
Weekend is coming. I know how hard that can be. I hope we all find whatever it is we are needing to see the other side.

I list my two toddlers as my reason as well. Mom needs to be there at every football game, baseball game, basketball... Sober. I don't want them to see me drunk and acting stupid and saying things I don't mean. They are my world 💜. Stay strong, day two here for me. Drinking some tea tonight and thinking about life
