Hi Febbies!
I'm waking up to Thanksgiving morning & thinking of you all fondly. Happy Thanksgiving!!!! (and extending the sentiment to non US friends). You guys have made SUCH a huge impact on my life. Thank you!
Mel - my boyfriends sister and you share the same date! It seems like in the past 3 weeks she went from normal to Pregnant with a cap P! Hope you are feeling better & the holiday isn't too stressful.
V - hope you are feeling better too!
Dee - always a pleasure to read your posts.
I'm doing well. I have NOT been focusing on my eating. But I am also really happy right now and enjoying just "being". I can hear my partner stirring so will add more color at my next post.
Biggest new thing: Looks like I'm going to take next year and travel for an extended period 6 -12 months!!! - Something I have always wanted to do

That's great news about the travelling.
Very happy to hear you doing so well.
I am kicking big goals, and moving forward in ways I never did in all of the time I was sober before. It is pretty amazing. But I have been overdoing it a little. Remember so long ago when we talked about balance? I need to learn how to do that now.

Venus, thank you so much for you warm welcome. It made my morning today when I logged on to see that you had replied.
YES!!!!! I DO remember talking about balance waaaay back. Gosh, it was in second or third month sober, but it stayed at the forefront of my mind for a while - still is really Thank you for the reminder, I always do my best when I focus energy there
It sounds like you're in a good place with the self awareness to stretch things, but keep from things going too too far. I'm really proud of you & excited for you!
I can hear the house waking up again. It's raining here today, first solid rain in about 8 months (we've been in a 3 year drought) & I absolutely LOVE sipping my coffee and hear the patter on the roof.
This week I am packing up my studio apartment and moving into my boyfriend's house for the next few months before I go travel. The studio was the first time I lived by myself, and I got it 6 months into sobriety and I LOVED making it my own home. Now I am starting the next chapter, as my boyfriend and I are on the path towards marriage. Looking back I am SOOO happy that I took the 'me' time to have my own place just for me. I will be fully transitioned by Dec 15th
