I think I'm late for my sign in...9:45pm on Thursday. Just got done carving pumpkins with the kiddos and Roasting up some pumpkin seeds. Looking forward to a fun Halloween tomorrow.

. SR Friends for my belly button Birthday wishes! Coming here each evening and reading your posts, helps in keeping my life in perspective. My AA meetings in person are a must and a pleasure, just as SR check-in is each day. For those just beginning ....keep coming back here to SR . I find that being accountable (to myself, and you guys, each day) is a BIG tool in my recovery .

So, checking in for another 24 hours of my recovery, thanks to my HP & AA.

Midnite in MD; thx to tootsl1 & soberleigh coz it's very much appreciated! I try to remember the saying that it's tough climbing a mountain, but imagine the view when you get to the top. Attended memorial service for one of the guys that stayed here. Didn't know much bout him apart from casual hellos but he was a believer too!! There was standing room only & even then the hallway was packed. AA was there to show support including his sponsor. He passed away Sun evening from brain aneurysm @ 32! Another reminder tomm is not promised at all. Sure need more sobriety

Five days sober and looking forward to another 24 hours to make Halloween day six! It will be a true test tomorrow being a Friday and Halloween. I think I will play it safe and enjoy this one alone with the cat, Netflix and some tea.

I'm with you! Halloween makes day 3 for me, and the first Halloween I won't get to take my kiddo trick-or-treating, which makes me a little nervous (day 3, not the trick-or-treating). I think I'll have a date with my DVR and some Coke Zero.
