I don't know how I've never visited this thread. But I'm terrible at rituals. I am on for another 24 and would like to commit to working the program as well. To the letter. And thank you courage! I needed the meeting and it was fun!

Lots of stressors this week, and a long brunch where I'm sure alcohol will be present tomorrow...but I'm signing in for another 24. Gotta do it.

Congratulations to everyone, with or without sober milestones, you inspire me daily.

I'm looking forward to a sober family dinner tomorrow at my inlaws. It's nice not having to cook! For once I'm not worried about getting drunk and making a fool of myself because I don't do that any more.

Have a happy, safe and sober weekend friends.

To tell you the truth, I'm kind of an equal-opportunity cheese eater. I like all kinds. There aren't any really *great* sources of cheese where I live. But when I go to Boston there are a bunch of good places and I usually end up bringing a bunch of cheese home.

Anyway, I'm in Nashville tonight. Even though I don't care for (modern, recorded) country music, I very much enjoy live country music, so I'm planning to go to the Opry tomorrow night. Should be a hoot

In the spirit of full disclosure, I am putting this out there: I am completely calendar disordered. This is not an excuse for posting anniversaries on wrong days, or missing them completely, or omitting entire years (so sorry erfa7.) If you were to poll my friends, you would know I need seven reminders to get social events on the right day or week. One time I showed up a day late for a baby shower, interrupting a family Sunday dinner (I did get invited to stay, my friends are very polite) and another time I organized a road trip to an art gallery opening and we were a whole week late. The gallery was just having a regular day, and we were all dressed for the ball. They thought we were quite fancy.

This calendar problem, apparently, was not a side-effect of any alcohol intake, because if you haven't noticed, it's still going on. I have become so uptight about the anniversary calendar, I am now checking my work 5-7 times before posting, and still making pretty significant errors. I tell you, its so ridiculous, it's comical at this point. If I told you what I do for a living, you would fall off your chair.

So here is my apology in advance. I'm sorry I skipped you or gave you some wacky sobriety date that makes you think maybe I'm still having bed wine (I'm not.) And here are my thanks in advance for you being so patient and kind and not ripping me a new one for messing with a date that I consider so important.

I will keep working on this to make it better- here for 24 more- I think.....

You're doing a perfectly wonderful job!
