24 more please. It's 5:25 pm. This used to be happy hour time. It still is, just sober! Time for a cup of tea or a walk.

Hope we all continue to feel better every day. Congratulations to everyone celebrating anniversaries today.

Down a bit this week but certainly not out.
Those artificial 'little helpers', booze and benzos gave very little
for heaps of misery in return.
Our better times are tempered by the not so good and this helps us grow
.I'LLHAVE 24!

Here’s something I didn’t know until I started thinking about autumn topics – not all squirrels have cheek pouches for storing acorns and other nuts. Only ground squirrels:

Not tree squirrels or my personal favorite, the nocturnal Northern flying squirrel, Glaucomys sabrinus:

Who knew? Maybe you!

I hope you store away an acorn or two of good experiences from your day, & I’ll see you here again tomorrow!

The squirrels here are called "chickarees," and they make a high-pitched chirping-like or screeching sound.

7:49 PM on Orcas Island.

Too late on parade for today's role call but I am strong and sober, and now somewhat sleepy.

Did I mention it's motorcycle upgrading time? I ordered a set of extra-obnoxious pipes and a new breather for my bike. Yep, I'll be watching out the window for the mailman until they arrive.
