24-Hour Recovery Connections Part 19
Goat, you'd think he'd would be pushing goat cheese.
I like Feta, does that qualify? I had to give up my bleu cheese dressing, it was too good.
CSM, I volunteered in an animal shelter for several years. I heard over and over again from people that they wanted "this cat" or "that dog" because they felt their recently deceased animal had helped them pick him/her. There must be something to that, because I heard it many times from different people. Sometimes it was a mannerism like the way they dipped a paw in their water, or sometimes it was a physical resemblance - but sometimes it seemed to be an instant connection..
I'm connected to you all. Hey, the thread has Connection in the title.
Full circle.
I'll take 24 more.

I missed a post a few days ago, but it's taken me a few days to come up with a reply to Courage2's challenge to post fall inspiration.
I look forward to fall because it is aurora season! For unknown reasons, the weeks around the equinoxes often bring displays of auroras to lower latitudes

Thanks bimini! That was really interesting. I never thought about the dog who had passed helping their owner find another dog, but it's very comforting to think that could happen.
We are moving right along on this thread! Congrats to all with milestones today and my thoughts are with everyone.
Courage, thanks for the photo of cotton!
Well, back to work. My desk is covered with paper and I have to make some progress before the end of the day. I'll take another 24, please.

Switching gears, switching seasons. OMG, I’m in Florida! It took my head about 12 hours to catch up with my body, but that’s pretty good, for me. So what’s October like here? Hot! I went to the pool There’s this incredibly cool thing here called the Sunshine Skyway Bridge – I probably won’t even ride over it in a taxi but it looks like a miraculous piece of human engineering and it’s beautiful too!
Plus, I saw a mockingbird, some geese, brant, maybe a flock of egrets, a cardinal, dragonflies, and a butterfly. May not seem a huge deal, but wow – I haven’t seen a cardinal in NYC in a long time, and our butterflies have all gone south. And there are positively bushes of blooming hibiscus just outside the window where I’m typing.
I want to thank a member of my original Daily Class from SR who met up with me for dinner in Tampa tonight and took me to a meeting. I have so much appreciation for SR and everyone who shares with me in recovery. Thanks especially to my friend Tamerua & to you all.
I’ll get to work on auroras, Coldfusion. Tomorrow I’m all about the squash! I hope to see you then!

I went to my Noon Meeting today and afterwards a group of us went to lunch, so good to see & be with my friends from my HG. Still no permanent home yet, the Park works for now though.
I'm in for another 24 hours of my recovery, Thanks to my HP & AA.
