Hello, I'm from team August, but had a few setbacks, so I'm only on day 5 here, and was wondering if I could be a part of this class? Since its closer to my quit date and all. Hope you will have me. Thanks.

Day 3. I am talking with my AV now instead of joining in his game and I feel really present with my triggers, really aware. The weekend is coming - I can do this.

Hi all. I'm from the August class but have started over. My new sobriety date is October 1 and I'd love to join this class.

Hello classmates. Just a quick post to say I am on Day 3 and busy at work here today. I hope to get back on the forum later this afternoon.

Welcome to all newbies and congrats to everyone on whatever day they are on now. Most importantly, is that we are sober TODAY.

Hugs all around.

'I had hot flashes all last night while sleeping. Has anyone had something similar?'

The first two nights I didnt sleep well and I was definitely more uncomfortable, wouldnt say hot flashes but similar feeling. Last night (night 3) slept much better and felt more rested in the morning.

I am exactly the same, the woman who wakes in the morning is not the same woman who looks at the clock come 9 p.m. I feel differently this time, I am so fed up with the inner conflict, already I am starting to achieve. What a waste of time, life and money is red wine! I am tired of the me that keeps on drinking despite the impact. Good luck Tiredofme .. keep posting x

It's ok. I actually try not to count my days. I was just being silly.

I wanted to join this class because I was feeling so left behind in team A. All my fault though for the restarts. They are all a great group. Looking forward to getting to know this class. Thanks for having me.

Popping in while getting snacks for guests makes a change from sneaking extra wine :-) though think I better switch from diet coke

Evening is going OK since its the first time sober think it's going to be a long one and the though of wouldn't this be more fun with wine has crossed my mind but I have done it and next time will be easier

Hi all..making it through the day sober!! I usually by wine after work so today I went to the store on my lunch break (turned my head the other way as I passed the wine) got my dish soap and headed out. I knew if I went in after work...I might cave. Home now, cooking dinner for myself which is also a change since I refuse to eat once I've started drinking. Hope everyone is doing ok.

I hear you! I can't even remember how many deals and arguments I made with myself in the morning only to be smashed by 8pm that night. My booze of choice is wine too and I got to the point that I didn't even care what it tasted like or if it was good wine. Just as long as it was dry and got me drunk.
