Sorry your feeling down, maybe it's time for a "Shoes Appreciation Weekend", do something you want, strictly for yourself. Be it a weekend getaway, an ice cream and movie marathon, or that guilty pleasure that we all have but nobody knows about.
The weekend getaway doesn't have to be far or exotic, just away from your normal routine.

Today was the "zombie bike ride" here. It has grown from a few dozen to over 8000 participants, I wanted to ride it last year, but was glad I didn't when I heard that there were 8000 riders. This year I wanted to get a prepaid cell phone and call the police and the newspapers in hysterics every few minutes about the Zombies invading today!

Shoes.... has your thyroid been checked recently? Sometimes a dose that has been working doesn't anymore or for me, I forget the list of things I have to remember - like not drinking coffee for at least an hour before or after I take the med, etc. It's almost impossible for me to distinguish between fatigue, depression and screwed up thyroid. Feel better soon!

My political hero died this morning at age 96 and I feel sad about that. He changed Australian politics back in the 70s and has been a huge influence on govt over the years.

Ha, we've crossed paths Dee. All good w me, i'm at home on holiday.......head jst bit mixed up ATM re whether or not I want to sacrifice the Oz sun, beach and lifestyle for my wee home country with friends and family........and of course highland cows
