Happy Sunday evening! I was in a blackout by this time on so many occasions. Work on Monday does not stress me out when sober. In fact, I have an attitude of gratitude for having my job. So cool this sobriety thing.
Congrats team, to echo 1step, we are really doing this!
I just noticed by having a strange computer like connection for a second when the thread changed that names appear by the thanks part of the posts. I cannot see any names while using iPad which I always use. I didn't respond to anyone who has sent me thanks as I can't tell who it is! I feel terrible about that! Any tips?
Great posts about being present and enjoying things more. I felt like that with my little one today too. I feel like a new chapter of my life has started.
Sober sleep now and a big old smile for a sober Monday morning!

Today is Day 24 for me. I had a great time at the Red Sox game yesterday. Today I woke up with a heavy head and itchy/burning eyes. Again, my first thought was, "Oh, no! How much did I drink yesterday?" Then I remembered I was no longer drinking. My Fall allergies are bothering me with slight sinus headache, itchy eyes and ears. I would be dealing with this hungover or sober, but it certainly hurts a heck of a lot less when sober and not competing with a hangover.
I am very impressed with how well everyone is doing; this forum is more help than I could have ever imagined. I am so, so happy I found it.

Good Morning! I'd like to join your group. Going to start fresh. Its only day 5, and I was in the Sept. clan last year. Didn't make it through the Xmas holidays. I'm retired, no excuse not attend a meeting every day in my area. Fortunately, theres many available from 5:am through midnight.
