Hi team,

I just wanted to check in quickly.

The afternoon out with my man was great, we went to a museum and had an ice cream afterwards (instead of a pint), then fantastic dinner with friends, amazing food, lots of sparkling water, no surprised comments and a great walk home after (instead of staying out until drunkenly taking a cab home at 2am).

Couple of minor craves along the way (mostly for a cigarette though), and interestingly felt a bit of the usual anxiety when the wine bottles on the table were empty, because normally I'd be wanting to order some more immediately and not really be able to focus on something else.) very nice indeed, that that wasn't my problem tonight.

Got plans to go for a hike with the gang tomorrow as well which I'm really looking forward to. Hooray for not having to spend Sunday in bed hungover.

I hope everyone is having an excellent weekend.

hey Applekat.

Sorry, posted the above before i read you were having a hard time tonight. Go for a walk, dance, sing, scream (whatever is acceptable for you depending on the party you're attending)... whatever it takes. stay strong! you'll be so grateful about it tomorrow.

Sending you strength!

Lesloo I can relate. Once I started drinking it was all I could focus on for the rest of the day. How to continue drinking. I quit drinking on August 2nd this year, so almost a month.
