I'm in for another 24.

24 more for me please. today is going to be my first 'test'. we're supposed to get together with our good friends for dinner tonight. to be honest... i am dreading the noise I am going to get since I won't be drinking... but this is for me, and my health, so the noise will just have to be dealt with. gah.

Signing up for 24 hours drink and drug free. 8:18am in Jacksonville, Florida.

It's 8:28 a.m. in NYC and I'm in for another sober 24.

I'm in for 24. Love waking up hang-over free!!

Late check in--and a busy day today.

6:30 AM on Orcas Island.

Early in recovery it's best to avoid temptation where possible, but if you can't cancel the evening, is it possible to either contact the friends before hand and tell them you won't be drinking tonight, or give an excuse for not drinking ( anti biotics, upset tummy, early morning tomorrow, designated driver etc. keep your soda glass full and a smile on your face. It also helps to visualise the evening before you go, imagining yourself having a lovely sober time.

Saturday about 7am I believe, now the clocks aren't working in the house, but I think the computer is off about 2 hours :) All in all.....give me another 24

Good morning! Charlee is in the house! It's great to have him home and now we just have to get him walking again. He's eating and very alert so I am hopeful that time will fix the legs. They are better than when I saw him last. No pathology report yet so I'm not going think about that this weekend and will just be happy he's home.

I took a picture to post, but when I went to tinypic this morning, something went very wrong and a bunch of malware got installed on my computer. :headbange
