5.24 pm on a Friday. Late today, after a stressful day at work. It is amazing how everyone can see how stressful the job is and offer a couple of drinks after work. I realise that alcohol made trying to deal with stress even harder and I can get through the day much easier. Happy sober night everyone.

Well guess who fell out of bed this morning. Can't remember that ever happening over decades of drinking. Woke very early this morning and thought I would have a bite to eat round 4AM. On returning to bed I slipped falling and hurting my back. I had, a few days earlier moved the bed from N-S TO E-W and in attempting to pick up a pillow from the floor I think I must have got dis oriented a bit..............Silly old bugger!
Had a bit of pain but don't think I have done any serious damage.

No rum or brandy for pain relief though.......I'll have 24!

A friend just called to come over to drink but doesn't want to drink alone.I told her I have some nice non alcoholic juices etc. for me but now she is rethinking coming over. Oh well don't need the added stress as I am only on Day 5 here.

I am going to an anniversary meeting this evening: a young lady who came in beat down from street drugs is celebrating 30 days and another gentleman 20 years.
It should be an awesome meeting.
