24-Hour Recovery Connections - Everyone Welcome - Part 11
Congrats Carlotta and Mags1 !! I'm checking in early because we are leaving on vacation today. This will be my 2nd summer vacation sober. I've got my Big Book, my numbers, my sober husband and son with me, and hopefully I can keep contact with you guys here on SR!
. We'll be on a cruise for a week, not sure how often I will be able to get Internet service. I read it's very slow....but there are the ports!
Checking in for my next 24 hours of my recovery.

Today’s flower: Mertensia virginica, the Virginia bluebell. This is known as an “ephemeral” plant – yes, that’s technical, meaning that it grows quickly and quickly fades. Butterflies love them. So did I as a toddler – a crop would suddenly appear in my back yard and for a brief few days, I could run down to the end of the yard and pull the flowers from their sepals and suck out the nectar from the base. Even at 3 years old I was sneaking off for stolen shots of liqueur! Oh, but that was an innocent time.
