One Year & Under Club Part 36
So, here's a really stupid joke......
Duck walks into a bar...quack, quack...hops up on barstool. Hey, bartender - got any corn?
Bartender - no, wth - this is a bar. Duck hops down and waddles away.
Next day, duck waddles in - hops up on barstool - Hey, bartender - got any corn?
Bartender - I told ya we don't have corn - now LEAVE. If you come back again I am going to hammer your beak to the bar.
Two weeks go by - duck waddles in - quack, quack - hops up on barstool Hey, bartender got any any nails??
Bartender - no I don't have any friggin nails!
Duck - in that case, got any corn???? quack, quack......

Loved that, Courage!!!!!!!!!!!
Drake - Wow. Beautiful blog. Thank you for sharing it. I can relate to that despair and dissatisfaction and loneliness. I'm glad you found the inspiration to get sober and the courage to put your story to words.
In relating to your story it occurred to me that I've got to do more to fight this obsession with alcohol, this dissatisfaction with my life, where I'm stagnant because I'm living with an addict who doesn't want to change, and so in relating to your story, I surrendered. Just like I did the day I realized I can't drink anymore - not shouldn't, but can't. I'm doing what I did then, realizing I can't manage my life on my own, and asking for guidance from a higher power.
Thanks Drake.

Hello BABS, long time no hear.
Courage how do we know when we're past 500? I only see that we're at 26 now.
Hey, has anyone heard of Steve????? God I really really hope he's fine, still eating like crazy and sober.
We seem to have lost a few on the way but gained quite a few new people. This thread is the best!
Drake I'll read your blog now.
Have a good evening.

Dottie, that is such a great question. Where the heck is Stevie? Maybe Toots knows something about him. I saw Pippo on the overs thread a couple months ago. She is doing well and maintained her sobriety.
Ali, how are you doing?
