Afloatsober, sorry sweetie, but that description of your family dynamics raised an early morning chuckle, I hope all goes smoothly. I found handling my father a lot easier sober. Just remember you are not a child anymore, you are an adult, and do not need to react the way you always did in the past.

Congratulations on all milestones this weekend, some very recognisable posters among them, but a spesh hug to my Marcher Twins, Budd and Marcher

Don't sweat the little stuff Altoids. 2 weeks and 1 day is huge because recovery takes away old man useto.

Congrats are still in order. The newcomer with any part of 24 hours is the most important person in the room or on the thread.

I had a sponsee who put his ten year chip on the table, and I said thank God, and that man now has 11 more years.

It ain't over til the dirt hits you in the face. Just keep doing the next right thing.

I can't promise that I'll stay sober tomorrow... But at least for today I can promise that there will be no alcohol for this alcoholic!
