Checking in for 24 hours of sobriety. I have drank every night since Friday and now feel like crap.

Had some really strong and damaging winds yesterday and today we are expecting a cold air blast on this first day of August.

OK Go is the ultimate band for the one take music video. Their video of “Here It Goes Again” is justly famous, but I kind of prefer this high school version. There’s something about teenagers working together, trying to do a great job, celebrating their talent and awkwardness at the same time that touches my heart. It’s enough to give anyone hope.

. Mmmm just finished a bowl of ice cream with chocolate syrup. It just hit the spot on yet another hot night. I had to take our son to the dentist today (not planned). He has a temp filling where a crown will be placed next week. It's been irritating him, but the dentist said it's fine till Wednesday. We'll see ....

Time to check in for another 24 hours of my recovery. Prayers to Afloat's friend that all went well in her operation today.

Checking it for 1st day of WEEK 5!! Does that mean I made it to 4 weeks!!! Yup....the impossible has happened! Yippeeeee!! Was so grumpy yesterday because I wanted to celebrate....which typically meant alcohol....no more for me. My next milestone will be 1 month (calendar) on 4th August....a mere 3 days away. And from then on it will be monthly milestones. You guys have made this possible for me and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for posting every day...reading what you write is what gets me through the tough moments.
So I'm checking in for another 24hrs at 11.47am in Western Australia.
