Good luck! Hoping the prep isn't that hard. My husband gets through it pretty easily.

Mirage, refinding peace is doable. Life changes but peace is always possible.

So sad about robin Williams. RIP.

I am eternally grateful that my depression, as lousy as it feels, is a blink cpated to what some endure.

Xoxoxo

I am back, Frances that prep is the worst I had real trouble swallowing the last glass and what follows I wont talk about. LOL. All went well I had some polyps removed and will see the Doctor again in 3 weeks. Feeling absolutely worn out today.

So absolutely sad and what a huge shock about Robin Williams you just never know what people are dealing with.

6 MONTHS TODAY

Way to go, aussie! Look at you with 6 months! So happy for you! Hope your mood is better. Rest up. I've never had that procedure. I actually asked for one, but my doc said I don't have symptoms bad enough to justify insurance covering it. Have to wait till I'm 50, I think. Anyway, glad it went ok.

Yes, it was very sad about RW.

Trust me Mirage you don't want to have this , its not the actual procedure, you don't know anything about that , its the prep you have to do that is the worst.

Pouring rain here today, I really enjoy a rainy day, something real cozy about being inside looking out at the rain.

Hope you all have a great weekend.

Thanks, Marchers!

I got my coin today! Woot!!!! And went to a wedding and came home from that wedding totally sober. And had fun.

I've got a big appointment with my sponsor Monday to do Step 5 ... and probably 6 and 7, too. I'm really wanting to dig into 8. It says in the Big Book that "more will be revealed", and that is happening almost daily. I'm seeing how I hurt my family and friends, even though I truly thought that my isolated drinking affected no one. It did affect them. They aren't even really cognizantly aware, I don't think, but I'm seeing it and I want to make those amends.

Congrats on 6 months Aussie and for doing this important test for your health! I'm sorry the prep stunk. I'm glad it's behind you. (HA HA little humor there)

CONGRATS PBC for 11 MONTHS and for enjoying going to the wedding! Congrats on your continuing unfolding with your Sponsor!

Hiya Dee & Mirage!

I"m off to Maine thismorning for just under 2 weeks. Happy to be going. Just got to get through 2 more hours of packing. I'm not a good leaver. Feels like there is ONE MORE THOUSAND THINGS to do. But truth is, put clothes and husband and dog and self in car. Point car north. GO

XOXOXOXOX

Frances, you crack me up. How's life in Maine today?

Today will be a long, busy day for me. I have my usual work, which is a bit intense on Thursdays, then I'm staying late to fill in for someone else, and then we're taking the family out for dinner for my oldest dd's 23rd birthday. I'll sleep well tonight!

What's up in the rest of your lives today?
