Hello! It's 4:08 pm in PA and the AV voice is starting to wake up. Hi, AV. You can scream all you want but you don't get to play. You don't get to possess my mind-body-spirit this time. I'm going to stay sober today, tonight, and for another 24 hours.

Just thinking today, it takes a little while after you’ve come unglued from alcohol or drugs to get back together again. I’m definitely under (re)construction. But every day that I start with a commitment to sobriety, I have a chance at something better.

Tommy, the last original member of the Ramones died a few days ago. Kinda sentimental about the Ramones. I never saw them live, but I wound up in an apartment around the corner from this pub, where they played in another century, and the New York Dolls too.

We are all home tonight! Kaiser released my husband, with the warning to quit the smoking or next time we coud be dealing with his heart. In our 28 years together he's quit smoking a few times. Prayers and a healthy diet here at home are my 'can-do's' for my sweetie Ken.
Being present and sober has been working great, so of course, I'll sign in for another 24 of my recovery.
