I'll be on here a couple times during the day. I understand that my Aussie friends are going into night now.
I have to make a run to the local Home center and get a new bathroom faucet as the old one is leaking. My wife and daughter will be attending a baby shower so I'll be free to get a few guys stuff done today.
In days past it would have been an opportunity to get drunk all day.
I am glad I'm not wasting my life like that anymore.
But I must admit, those ugly thoughts still enter my mind on occasion.

That's good about the job application, Bob.
I've been a bit stressed the past couple of days, and I really deeply asked myself if I felt like a drink. I got a loud no back, which was good.
I actually don't think I could be bothered with it. Such a waste of time to end up feeling worse than you did before.

Hi Bob - I know what you mean - I am so glad I am not wasting my life being obsessed with drinking, yet those thoughts (having a day/night to sit around and just drink wine) still creep into my mind too. Especially when I have the house to myself. I wonder if our AV will ever give up and take a hike?
Rainy day here so will be staying in most of the day. Maybe my daughter and I will make some chocolate chip cookies, even though that it is the last thing I need laying around the kitchen
