Thanks to everyone...Venuscat, Dee, Anna...who've tried to keep the spirit of the thread alive: to support each other and focus on recovery one day at a time.

Yup Dee One Day, 24 hours at a time is how we do it. One sober foot in front of another.
Thanks to VC Dee et al for continuing a thread which has become an important routine for many, a vital support for others and an affirmation for more still. I wish Deeker all the best in her progress, and look forward to more 24's

I promise not to drink or drug for the next 24 hours. No matter what, there is no reason for me to drink/drug, ever.

I also promise to take care of my mental health by taking my Rx as prescribed by my medical health care providers.

venuscat, I am very sorry you and Dee received such horribly cruel emails and understand completely why you don't want to continue volunteering. There is no need to feel bad about that. I think the members just really enjoy signing in every day and each person can contribute messages and songs and stories and everything will be fine.
