Good question !!!!
I am here sir !!!!

I think Aarry used to be the "glue" to this thread and once she stopped posting the Marchers were less motivated to post as they saw less activity (perhaps??)

Bimini, Ilya, Bruce, MrF, KF and I and some others have been posting but it has been scarce compared to a month or two ago

I may have to join the One Year and Under thread to get some more activity I know i need the support !

Hello, Dee, and Chris and all the other Marchers.

Sorry for the silence, had a few things to tidy up over the last day or so.

I'm here and thinking of all of you.

B.

Looks like I will be going to SEA in about 10 days or so for about a week.

Got the "good" news yesterday. However it may be delayed because I need a new passport. There is only one blank page left and the travel lady at the office said that there is some rule that there must be more than one blank page. So I'll have to apply for a new one. That can take a while here. Anyone know anything about this requirement?

I assume it's this Bruce:

How many blank passport pages do I need to meet entrance requirements and what is considered a 'blank' passport page?
Passports must have enough blank pages to accommodate entry and exit immigration stamps for each country of travel. At least one visa page in your passport is required for each visa. Most travel visas that are stamped into your passport require an entire blank visa page. A 'blank' visa page must be clean, clear, and not show ink or stains from any other pages in the passport.
US Passport FAQs | Frequently Asked Questions About US Passports

South African law requires that you have at least (2) two blank visa pages in your passport to enter the country. You will not be permitted to enter South Africa and will be forced to leave on the next available flight if you do not have two blank visa pages in your passport.

Ouch. Sorry to hear that D.

I heard on the radio that if you make a circle with yout thumb and forefinger and press them against your eyelids they can make a temporary pair of glasses? Wouldn't recommend that in the supermarket though.

I got both

I've effected repairs - all is well...just a residual headache now.

Thanks D, I should have been checking my own country's websites!
Red face!
It can take a while to get a new one here. I don't want to keep the old one, too many trips I can hardly remember because of alcohol.

Getting up now. Will take the train to the office. Been typing on my phone which has given my thumbs a work-out!
Chat in a little bit.

I think it's just the idea of it that shocks the eyeballs back to behaving themselves.

Chilly here. 8 degrees.in June / July it will get a bit coilder in the mornings, dropping to about 0 on occasion, although during the day it warms up to thje low 20's. Not too bad, about two and a half months of cold mornings then it warms up again. We're not really geared up like Northern Hemisphere countries for cold weather.

Greetings, all!

Just wanted to say hey. I've not yet introduced myself on the newcomers' thread, but I first walked into an AA meeting on March 16 and have just passed the 60-day mark. Was going to a couple or sometimes 3 meetings a day and want to scale back a bit so I thought to join this website as a kind of at-my-desk sobriety friend. It's nice to see other March folks! I'll look forward to crossing paths with you here.

Just saying hi, really not up for expressing myself. Two more days, then two more days on the next rung down, then hopefully two days of silence.
Some of you may know that if I don't get my time to myself, I suffer greatly and I do not recharge. It's not a luxury it's a necessity.
I hope you're all well and I really hope to get to a place where I can be there for you too. Goodnight.
