Good morning Marchers 
Ken I am so glad that you are giving up cigarettes! As I've said before I stopped last year when I stopped drinking and I have not missed it at all. I did have the benefit that I had tapered down to the point where I only smoked when I drank but even so it wasn't all that hard to put a lid on it. I know people say that it's harder to give up nicotine than alcohol or other drugs but I simply didn't find it that way. Anything we can do to help you along the road will be done!
It's another public holiday in Australia, today is ANZAC day, a memorial day for the original Gallipoli soldiers and now for all who have served.

Marcher we were cruising in erupt a few years back and heading to Istanbul we passed the memorial marked in the hillside at Gallipoli it was extremely moving.
Budd are you going cold turkey, electronic cig patches or what? I went cold turkey, chewed matchsticks ( had to be struck) and ripped beer mats into teeny tiny pieces! You got this sweetie!
North you don't want to be doing that, I have a fella on another thread drooling in the corner at the moment!! Lol ooh that said, you are immune to the diversions of the female form aren't you? Hmm, will have to think about this a bit more!! X

venus, I'm so sorry about your pain. I hope the naturopath helps you and you are pain free. I'm sending you many, many good thoughts that your pain goes away and a fabulous job falls in your lap.

North ~ OUTSTANDING post....just so you know, life and I are in Oz as well.

Good luck with the re-write. I am in awe. And a touch jealous. Only thing I ever wanted to be when I grew up was a writer. But come to think of it, I am just now doing that, so who knows what I can achieve?
Yes Sass my love, looking for work is easier without pain. But looking for work sober is so much EASIER than it was in days gone by...I am just grateful every day that my wine-guzzling days are behind me.
This thread cracks me up...I'm sure I hear Dee fainting every now and then.

Life has 3 weeks!!! *****! Go Life!! Feels good don't it? don't look back...all up from here.
Got just enough time for a second cup of tea and quick drive by and then I need my 10 minutes to get ready for work. Soon I will just leave clothes there and not even bother getting out of my pj's. I will be down to 5 minutes to get ready for work. Haha.
Hey Budd. I know you will be fine quitting smoking. Read Allan Carr's easy way book. I like his attitude. Why think its harder than it has to be. And just think of boobies when an urge hits. I'm still peeing my pants over that one We. Lol
Ok. Time to brush my teeth. Not my hair...just teeth. I don't even really want to wear makeup today. It's Friday. TGIF. I'm in a really good mood today. No idea why. Just am.
I'm spray painting patio furniture this weekend. Going for the English tea party girlie look. Last year was hot pink. I love spray paint. Happiness in a can for $5. I will spray anything that doesn't run away from me.

Just got back from the doc and now have 2 little boys on antibiotics so hoping things improve around here soon.
