Well Howdy! How ya'll doing today? So great that you made the 24 Hour club a stop
on your journey today.
Join us in a simple promise to stay clean and sober for the next 24 Hours!
Just post your local time and commit!
Please post only once daily on this thread as this is mainly a sign up sheet that will

SOBER SUNUPS
Times are a changing for Bubba (My wife) and me
Always for the better of course, with my new sobriety
Gone are the mornings, filled with guilt and shame
The guy looking back in the mirror was the only one to blame
Our daily morning coffee along with Hank and his rawhide bone
Is no longer filled with silence and feeling all alone
We read our daily reflections and I do my SR post
But watching the sunrise sober is something I love the most
We now talk and giggle, at Hank and his routine
Of looking out the window, alas, no other dog is seen
So he trots on down the hallway and lays back on his bed
And waits for Bubba to make my lunch, then he gets his piece of bread!
And as I fill my thermos, he sits and waits for more
So I get another slice of bread from behind the cupboard door
I get a kiss from both of them when it’s time to leave for work
And they know I’ll come home sober and not some drunken jerk!

Slept a little better last nite and am grateful for that. Hope sleep continues to get better. But no matter what, I'm in for 24 more today at 7:11am in the low country. Prayers for all in the Club on this journey.

I'm very lazy today...not long up...having Mother's Day brunch of eggs, toast, mushrooms, bacon and sausages before I go for a long long walk! Last night was a bit of a bad night (sometimes I get horribly lonely)...but today will be an excellent day!! Signing in at 1:03 pm for 24 more and happy Mother's Day to all you great Irish and U.K. moms!! Xx
