Couldn't sleep thinking about my new problem.

I have a very busy day today. It is also my husband's birthday, and I'm quite tired, and we're having dinner at a friend's restaurant. I hope I can keep it cool, i know my husband knows I'm not drinking but I hope he understands the reality. I won't even have a sip today.

Another tough one today :/

I am really looking forward to this weekend, when I can just keep to myself.

I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Ilya

Good morning Marchers. Couldn't sleep past 4am today thinking about work, Jury Duty today (which I have no time for because of work deadlines etc...).
In the past this would make me want to drink and "forget about" all these responsibilities, when in fact drinking would make it 100 times worse. Thanks all for listening. Going to make a super strong cup of tea now. Hugs from California have a great day Marchers !!

Have you requested to be exempt because of your self employment? There is no statute guaranteeing you exemption, but in my experience with the court system (professional only, thank goodness!) , they are pretty understanding about that.

It's my birthday too! I hope you have a wonderful day, Ilya. Was it you who found a bedbug? We got them too after a trip. It is very possible to get rid of them. It just takes a bit of effort. Good luck!

Natalie, they used to excuse me for that years ago. The past few years they have gotten stricter. I even said I would have a hard time paying my mortgage by missing work. Denied! Ughhhh!!!!

toddle, florist sounds really nice and serene. I am an IT consultant. Nothing exciting there but it pays the bills (except when I have jury duty!) -- okay enough whining... Hugs to you all gotta get on the road to the courthouse now... Maybe if I plead insanity they will let me go!

Oh wow, jury duty! I hope it's not a really long one! Try not to stress too much. You know exactly how much worse drinking would make it. All the best for today
