I started off the morning by falling down the stairs! I did get a few bruises and scrapes on my left side, but nothing at all serious. The laptop went flying! Thank God the laptop is OK!

Morning classmates!
I hope you all have a great sober day. Its been a funny week for me, i did post this in the newcomers section, my husband has been really difficult to live with, either really moody or completely silent. I was at my wits end, i couldn't understand what was going on. He has been a moody person in the past but i always put it down to me drinking, but now with nearly four months sober, he's still very moody. Turns out he thinks he may be suffering from depression. He did lose his father toward the end of last year. His dad was a heavy drinker and he always said it was the one thing he would change about him, so it had been a difficult relationship at times. Anyway i am grateful that he's acknowleged his moods and is going to see a dr next week. Another thing i am very grateful for is that not once through these horrible moods did i think of drinking. In the past it would have most definitely been the way i handled it, i would have drunk at him if that makes sense, but it shows i have now learned new coping skills.
Its always helpful to come on SR and vent a little and get some great advice, i love this place and you lot

Good work Apophylite, on staying on track so you can be of maximum help to your husband. That is super news.

Hey Gilmer, watch it, or we all will have to come on over and hold your hand as you go down the stairs!

Hi class,
Apophylite, glad your hubby will be getting help. Happy for you that you have been able to remain sober thru it all.

Hope everyone is doing well. I had crazy bad drinking dreams last night and had to convince myself it didn't happen when I woke up. Hate that.
AV keeps trying to tell me that now would be a good time to relapse. Almost four months. Not too many, not too few. Horrible little AV lies that I'm not going to listen to.

Off to work soon, and lots of it this weekend thank goodness.

I would actually love that, Mel! I'd love to meet everybody I know on SR! I'm fine today, but I've got some very impressive looking bruises!

Hi everyone,
Today is 90 days for me!

I was asked to speak at a meeting for the first time (the time requirement is 90 days) and it was pretty awesome. Once I started speaking I wasn't nervous at all. I couldn't believe how quickly 20 minutes flew by!

After the meeting a guy gave me a big book that was given to him when he had 90 days. I also got a bouquet of flowers from a friend in recovery. Then I went to my favorite women's meeting and I get a coin next week (which I am REALLY excited about for some reason) and tomorrow I get my 90 day MA coin! It has been a pretty awesome day.

I got to share and also hear really good recovery. I am exhausted, I got 2 hours of sleep because of work and I have to work at 6:30AM tomorrow! I will catch up on threads tomorrow, I hope everyone has a great weekend!!

I hope everyone is doing well! Getting things done without having to go into crisis mode is an unfamiliar feeling. As for bigger life goals, it is truly weird realizing that "I might actually finish this project that has been rotting in limbo for umpteen years." I am still somewhat depressed, but I think less so recently. Thanks for listening.
