I'm sorry.

I know it's hard but try to stay calm Apophylite.

It may not be lupus - and even if it is, there's several SRers I know who are dealing with that very well

and that drink? Lets be honest - there's not enough booze in the word that would stop you worrying.

I hope you get good news soon

Thanks dee, thankfully the urge to drink was fleeting. I never would have acted on it.
I'm going to overhaul my diet and start exercising and finally commit to giving up my ten a day cigarette habit.
I am going to be pro active in caring about my health and then even it's not lupus I'll be feeling great!

Rick, thank you for sharing on the 24-hour club. I love hearing about what a terrific grandfather you are! It is really inspiring to hear about where you are vs. where you've come from.

And congratulations on 6 months!

Biopsy was done yesterday, bit disappointed that I had to have stitches in my face. A scar on top of the rash was the last thing I needed. Two months wait for the results but at least it's finally getting looked into!

Wow, two months is a long time! Sorry you have to suffer with it, and sorry you have to go through all this! At least at the end you'll have a definite answer. How are you doing with your sobriety? Are you able to have any peace of mind?

Thanks Gilmer, I appreciate the kind thoughts. I do love those little hooligans so much. They make me laugh and fit from trying to keep up.

You also have a big day tomorrow. Congratulations to you as well my friend.
Feels good doesn't it? I am very confident that the next 24 hours will turn into another 6 months of abstinence for both of us.
Keep on Gilmer. I am proud to be on the same train as you.

I hope the scar won't be too noticeable - from my own experience, vitamin e cream can help too

Hey gilmer, my sobriety is rock solid right now. I had a pity party and then pulled myself together!
I know my drinking days are over and I don't really mourn that anymore.
And some good news I have been prescribed some new creams and the rash is now barely noticeable in just two days.

Hey guys,
I've been kind of hiding. My sister had my iPad for 3 weeks which is primarily how I post on SR so I haven't been posting often.

I am also just emerging from a deep depression. For some reason I get really depressed during the transition from winter to spring. Dunno why, but I have noticed a pattern over the years.

Anyway, I'm feeling much better. I isolated a lot and ate a lot of nutella and I put the weight that I had lost back on, but I also got some new running shoes so I plan on putting those to good use starting this weekend!

Congrats on your progress and happy belated bee day vitaminb6! I remember 25 (it was 5.5 years ago ). It was one of the greatest years of my life, actually!

Apophyilite - I am sorry to hear that you haven't been well and I will definitely say a prayer for you. I'm glad you're feeling better and that you feel strong in sobriety!

Hooraay for everyone who is celebrating 6 months! (I am celebrating next Saturday)

Hugs to everyone!

You are right, Apophylite! We DO rock!

Br00ksie, so glad to see you back. Sorry you've been suffering. I need to get back into my exercise, too.
